In the Department of Audiology, audiological tests, middle ear pressure and reflex tests, brain stem audiometry (ERA), and auto acoustic emission tests, which are the most important screening methods in evaluating neonatal hearing, are being performed.

In the evaluation of patients with dizziness complaints, tests are used and the treatment of positional dizziness disease, which has an important place among the causes of dizziness, is done successfully with the “Maneuver” method.

In addition to the standard surgeries performed in hospital ORs under the scope of ear nose throat specialty such as nasal deviation, tonsil, adenoid, endoscopic sinusitis surgery, surgery for head end and neck tumors and surgeries targeted to cosmetic and functional defects arising from these operations, tympanic membrane repair, surgery for hearing loss and ear infections, surgical interventions for voice disorders, and functional and aesthetic nose surgeries are performed successfully using the most recent techniques.

The Sleep Disorders Unit has recently been conducting sleep laboratory assessments to better understand sleep disorders, snoring and airway obstruction (sleep apnea), which are increasingly well understood. These diseases are treated by medical and surgical methods (by using positive pressure respiratory device, painless, non-operative radiofrequency applications for the nose, soft palate and tongue and surgical techniques).

In patients who complain of vocal and speech disorders, the cause of hoarse voice can be determined by stroboscopic examination following the examination of vocal cords by endoscopic methods. In patients with functional impairment, voice therapy techniques are applied.
